The North Cape Museum is proud to present a unique exhibition exploring the practice of reindeer herding from the point of view of Sami women.

The exhibition will be on display from the Sami National day, February 6th, until May 6th 2014.

Focusing largely on the Bæhr family, who lives in Kautokeino during the winter months and in the coastal Badderen area during summer, the exhibition consists of documentary photography, texts, sound portraits and a short film from a springtime reindeer migration to the coast in the 1960s.
